Description of Geranium oil

The oil is mostly colorless, but can have a slight light green color to it. It has a watery viscosity.

The leaves and stalks are used for extraction, and the oil is obtained through steam distillation.

It is a strong smelling oil with a floral aroma and a hint of mint, and when extracted from the Odorantissimum plant has a slight apple undertone, whereas the Graveolens oil has a rosier aroma.

Function of Geranium oil

This fresh essential oil has a firm place in aromatherapy, as it helps to balance the mind and emotions, while stimulating the adrenal cortex and balancing the hormonal system and stimulating the lymphatic system. On the other hand, it balances the production of sebum in the skin, while keeping it supple and helping with the healing of wounds.

Usage of Geranium oil

1.Massage:carrier oil 10 ~ 15 ml + 2 ~ 10 drops of essential oil,gently massage until fully absorbed.

2.Direct inhalation:drip 1 drop of oil in the palm, or paper towel, then take a deep breath.

3.Vaporisation:drip 3-5 drops of oilin the aromatherapy machine, and then light it to give out fragrance.

4.Air freshing:drip 8 ~ 10 drops of oil in 100ml  distilled water, and then spray the liquid.

5.Bathing: drip 8~10 drops of oil into the bathtub which is full of hot water and stir it evenly. And then bath in the tub for 15~20 minutes. After bath, clean the body with body shampoo.

6.Compress:3~6 drops of oil into the hot water and stir it evenly. Wet a towel with the water and wring it out. Compress the towel upon the right position of the body.
