D-Mannose

Mannose (Mannose) is a kind of monosaccharide, it is also a kind of six carbon sugar, it is component of a variety of polysaccharides. It exists in some plants peels in free state, there is small amount of free mannose in citrus peel, peach, apples and other fruit. Ivory palm, yeast, algae, serum globulin, ovomucoid and Mycobacterium tuberculosis contains D- mannose glycan.
