The main component of Poria is β-Pachyaman, accounting for about 93% of dry goods. Many triterpenoids are also contained in the Sclerotia, such as acetyl Poria acid (Pachymic acid). An acidic protein – Poricin is also obtained from Poria mycelium in water extracts, it contains 18 kinds of amino acids, which molecular weight is 100,000, it is a highly toxic anti-cancer substances.
