Immunochromatographic tests frequently employ anti-mouse or anti-rabbit secondary antibodies, which, due to their C-line nature, frequently introduce heterophilic antibodies (e.g., human anti-animal antibodies, HAAA) into clinical samples. This incorporation can lead to instability in the C-line signal, thus perturbing the accuracy of the test outcomes. Seebio offers DNP antigen and antibody, a robust, interference-free, and superior C-line quality control system for immunochromatography platforms, ensuring reliable results.

Principle of DNP Antigen and Antibody as an Independent C-line
DNP (Dinitrophenol) is a small molecule with a molecular weight of 184.11, primarily utilized in organic synthesis and as a dye intermediate. Being absent from human metabolism, DNP avoids the generation of non-specific reactions with sample interferences like heterophilic antibodies and human anti-animal antibodies. The cross-linking of DNP with BSA and the production of anti-DNP antibodies creates an ideal candidate for use in immunochromatographic methods, serving as an effective independent quality control system and markedly enhancing C-line specificity.
