Principle of action
Taking NAD as an example, as shown in the figure, under the action of dehydrogenase, catalytic dehydrogenation is transferred to β-NAD+ to form reduced β-NADH. NADH has a characteristic absorption peak at 340nm, while NAD has no characteristic absorption peak at 340nm. Using its coupled dehydrogenase (tool enzyme) reaction, the concentration or activity of a substance can be measured based on the change in absorbance at 340nm. The same goes for NADPH and NADP.
Application areas
It can be used for the production of detection kits for ALT, AST, CK, LDH, CK-MB, α-HBDH, Glu, UREA, NH4+, CO2, etc.
